Cargill's standard and modified lecithins are derived from renewable sources, providing emulsifying, dispersing and wetting benefits for a wide range of applications. Lecithin enhances emulsions, suspensions and dispersions by helping to stabilize these systems.
In paint applications, lecithin can be used as a dispersing agent, stabilizer or wetting agent.
In drilling applications, lecithin can be used for:
- Lubricating drill bits/smooth operation
- Reducing friction/reduced damage
- Achieving viscosity requirements in fresh, saltwater and other drilling muds
