Atmer™ 7373

Contact us Request a sample

Atmer™ 7373 additive is a 40% concentrate of a unique anti-fog concentrate especially designed for polypropylene homopolymer and delivers outstanding performance in both hot and cold food packaging. Scientifically formulated for clear polypropylene films and containers, the Atmer™ 7373additive prevents droplet formation on plastic surfaces, keeping food looking fresher for longer.

Concentrates are added to the process like other resins. After cooling, the additive migrates to the surface of the polymer and allows droplets of water to form a continuous layer, which maintains transparency of food packaging and improves the presentation of the food contents inside.

Using a concentrate allows for better dispersion and overcomes complications encountered when using additives in their normal physical forms.

Guidelines for Use:

Atmer™ 7373 additive is incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion though, mechanical means are preferred.

Typical addition levels are 2 - 5% in injection molding and sheet extrusion.
