Sustainable cocoa advances: From bean to bar

Contact us

We’re investing in several more sustainable cocoa supply chain initiatives in the Netherlands. Recent projects include a semi-automated product warehouse, the use of cleaner energy trucks, and turning cocoa shells into biofuel. These efforts build on existing partnerships, including electric barge transportation, windfarm power, and bean warehouse solar panels.

Emiel van Dijk, our Managing Director Cocoa & Chocolate Europe and West Africa, takes you inside these efforts and what they mean for our more sustainable bean to bar journey.
