Find us at World Dairy Expo
Serving as the meeting place of the global dairy industry, World Dairy Expo brings together the latest in dairy innovation and the best cattle in North America. WDE returns to Madison, Wisconsin for the 55th event, October 2 – 7, 2022. Tickets can be bought on the day of attendance or in advance at World Dairy Expo 2022 (ticketspice.com).
Here is where you can see Cargill, our people, ideas, and even our cattle, at the World Dairy Expo.
New Ideas and Product Offerings at our Trade Booth
Don’t play games with your ration, instead play a game with us in booth 3401 in the Exhibition Hall! Have a hand at playing our arcade style claw machine filled with fun swag, grilled cheese coupons, and Amazon gift cards. You can also see our newest products and research including our dairy MAX™ software and reformulated amino acid balancing for our HerdFirst® calf nutrition.
- Meet MAX – Your Cargill consultant’s upgraded sidekick! Dairy MAX takes the doubt out of complex challenges helping our consultants feed herds for maximum profitability, react with real-time feedback, and create predictable performance based on current and future purchasing decisions.
Dairy MAX software also just received an upgrade! The new methane predictor capability, launching across the US in November 2022, allows dairy MAX to tailor rations to reduce methane, increase feed efficiency, and capture nitrogen and phosphorus use.
- Amino Acid Balancing for Calves - Calf nutrition is a balancing act. Simply feeding for crude protein (CP) content and supplementing synthetic amino acids that are known to be limiting will not do the trick. Efficient growth requires a specific sequence of amino acids in the correct amounts to optimize calf growth.
The HerdFirst product line from Cargill was recently reformulated to balance the essential amino acids – lysine, methionine, and threonine – which have benefits for both your calves and business including:
-
Improved feed efficiency and average daily gain
-
Reduced wasted nutrients such as CP
-
Lower feed costs
Showing Cattle and Volunteering (Yes, we have more passions than just animal nutrition 😉)
- Exhibiting – Many of our team members will be showing their own cattle. You can find Josh Hushon, Carly Plocher, Chase Cashell, and Ashley Schugel on the colored shavings or taking care of cattle in the barns!
-
Volunteering – You will also see some of our team volunteering at Expo. Sara Ryerson is an official for the Collegiate Judging Contest and Amanda Lichtensteiger is an assistant superintendent for the contest. Josh Hushon is on the Board of Directors as well, and Kristen Burkhardt is volunteering at the National 4-H Dairy Conference.
