Meet our recent hire - Dr. William Myers
Dr. Myers holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Virginia University and a PhD in animal science from Cornell University. In his new role, Myers will lead technical trainings for his dairy teammates as well as provide technical support and troubleshooting for our dairy producers in the region. “I really love the progressive approach Cargill has towards sustainable agricultural practices and the company’s willingness to promote sustainable agriculture,” shared Myers.
Meet our recent hire - Dr. Tyler Harris
Dr. Harris is joining the Cargill Team as a Dairy Technical Application Specialist for the Central region. Harris holds a master’s degree in muscle biology, which was focused on the feedlot industry, and a PhD in dairy nutritional immunology from Texas Tech. In his new role, Harris will work in conjunction with Dairy Focus Consultants to help dairies realize their full potential. He will make farm visits and analyze everything from forages to diets, and records.
Meet our recent hire - Brynn Raduechel
Brynn grew up on a dairy farm, and continued her education at UW River Falls in Wisconsin, earning a bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science. She’ll be joining the Central U.S. team as a calf and heifer specialist. “I feel that there are so many life-long impacts that are made in the first two months of a cow’s life and I enjoy helping my customers create programs that shape healthy profitable calves that grow up to be healthy profitable cows.”
Meet our recent hire - Dr. Jennifer Trout
Dr. Trout joins the Cargill Team as a dairy young animal nutrition technical sales professional for the Western region. Dr. Trout obtained her BS in Dairy & Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University, and her DVM from The University of Florida. “I joined Cargill because I liked the team approach when working with clients to solve problems on their dairy, which helps them to become more profitable with healthier and more productive animals,” said Dr. Trout.
Meet our recent hire - Morgan Westover
Morgan is a recent graduate of Ohio State with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and has been a past Cargill Intern. “I joined Cargill because I was excited about the opportunity to continue to learn and grow during my time here. Cargill’s values and goals are also something that I really appreciate and align with,” Morgan shared. She will serve Central Michigan as a Dairy Focus Support.
Meet our recent hire - Robbie Shaw
Robbie has spent his whole life involved in the dairy industry, from growing up on and then running his family dairy farm in Maryland. Robbie joins the Cargill team as Sales Manager supporting the Southern State's dairy team. “By far the most enjoyable part of this role, so far, has been getting to know our team and their families. What an awesome group of people to be able to work with every day!” said Robbie.
Meet our recent hire - Joe Panter
Joe is a graduate of Utah State University with a Bachelors in Dairy Science and brings with him many years of sales experience in the agriculture industry. “I joined Cargill to be part of an organization that can make a difference in feeding the world through innovative solutions,” said Joe. Joe is serving as the Business Development Manager in Idaho.
Meet our recent hire - Heather Lord
Heather serves the Northeast region of Ohio as a Dairy Focus Consultant. She is a graduate from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Animal Science. Heather commented, “Cargill has always had a great reputation from customers and employees, and I was eager to work with a group of such driven individuals.”
Meet our recent hire - Joris de Boer
Joris was born into the dairy industry on his family’s farm in the Netherlands and has shared his knowledge for 20+ years in the industry. He joins the Cargill team as a Dairy Focus Consultant serving the regions of Northwest Vermont and Northeast New York. “I have really enjoyed working together with customers to recognize and achieve their goals. That customer focus is why we are such a good team,” said Joris.
Meet our recent hire - Adam Durrin
Adam is joining the Cargill team as a Dairy Data Technology Specialist. “Being part of a team and company with such a diverse set of talents and focus on digital innovation means I can be a part of something that will have a positive impact for farmers and the dairy industry as a whole,” Adam commented. He is a graduate of Saint Louis University with a B.S. in Aeronautical Science.
Meet our recent hire - Fred Lundy, III
Fred grew up on his family’s farm in Northeast Pennsylvania and is excited to return to serve the area as a Dairy Focus Consultant for Central and Northeastern Pennsylvania. He is a graduate from Penn State University with a B.S. in Dairy Science and a M.S. in Animal Physiology from Clemson University. “When I joined Cargill, I felt like I was joining a large extended family that not only cared for me, but cared for my customers as well,” shared Fred.
Meet our recent hire - Connor Willems
Connor Willems has joined Cargill three separate times, twice as an intern and now as a full time Dairy Focus Associate in northeast Wisconsin. After joining our team full time, Connor commented, “Each time it really came down to the people we have. With these people and the technology we are able to use, Cargill has one of the strongest abilities to help dairy producers meet their goals and succeed in their business.”
