FAQs

What type of animal does Full Tank™ work well on?

Full Tank was a first-to-market pelleted fill product that's more efficient than beet pulp alone due to its 1/8" pellet size. Full Tank helps support rib shape and enhanced stomach capacity on show pigs that are being held, animals that simply need more fill, or that you're delaying maturity as best as you can. Full Tank also works well on cattle, sheep, and goats that need added rib shape and enhanced rumen capacity. Purebred cattle feeders have found Full Tank effective in keeping their heifers full and fresh without putting on too much chest due to unwanted fat cover supported by the 1% fat that's found in Full Tank.

How does Full Tank differ from other filler products in the Sunglo lineup?

Full Tank is citrus pulp based, with added probiotics for gut health and support. Full Tank differs from Full Body in its nutritional profile by having less protein, less fat, and more fiber while also having a different ingredient profile. Full Tank is different from 2 the Fullest as 2 the Fullest is forage based with added cob.

How much Full Tank do I feed and when do I feed it?

It varies on the animal and in the feeding situation however 1/2 to 2 lbs. per head per day for pigs, sheep, and goats, and up to 5 lbs. per head per day for cattle is a good rule of thumb. Full Tank can be fed at any time in the feeding phase, and generally speaking the earlier you start the animal on the product, the better your result.

What product sizes are available?

Full Tank is available in a 50 lb. bag.
